Unfortunately, you cannot get admission to NIFT's Bachelor of Fashion Technology course without clearing their entrance exam. It is one of the eligibility criteria set by the institution. Along with fulfilling the qualification requirement, you'll be required to sit in the NIFT entrance exam and clear it.
Typically there is no option to apply for recheck of NIFT 2025 results.
However, if the candidate has any doubts, they are allowed to challenge the answer key. Note that the NIFT answer keys for GAT paper of the written exam will be released sometime in April 2025.
The exam conducting body in this case may look at the answer key and make changes if needed.
However, there will be no provision to recheck NIFT final results.
On reason for this may be because the Situation Test is a subjective-test. For that matter, the CAT also doesn't have any ideal solutions and so can be opened to a recheck.

BFTech stands for Bachelor of Fashion Technology, while BDes stands for Bachelor of Design. Although both Fashion Design as well as Fashion Technology are a part of the same stream. But there is a fundamental difference between the two. Fashion Design deals with creating new design pieces which can be apparel, accessories or fabric.
On the other hand, Fashion Technology deals with applying Science and technology to create fabrics from materials available in the market. Fashion Technology as a field emphasizes the techniques and equipment used to produce fashion products. Thus, Fashion Technology involves the use of various techniques and equipment for the production as well as management of fashion goods that are produced.

NIFT introduced the BFTech (Bachelor of Fashion Technology) course in the year 1986. Keeping an eye on the emerging design industry, they addressed the requirement for skilled professionals in the Fashion Design field with a blend of technology. BFTech course prepares students through both creative and technical approaches.
Pursuing a BFTech degree from any college is worth pursuing even if it's not NIFT. The foundational course structure and curriculum of BFTech will remain the same. However, it is important to choose a college with a good rating, reputation, and placement record.
Though the campus placement packages vary depending on the colleges, the average placement packages for BFTech go from INR 5.5 LPA to 9 LPA. The salary packages increase eventually when you gain relevant experience in the industry and polish your skills.
This depends on the campus placement. If the company finds suitable candidates, they can offer them a good package; otherwise, getting a very high salary package just after graduation is difficult. The placements also vary from year to year. However, with relevant experience and expertise, the salary package can increase.
BFTech is a great course option for students who want to gain both Design and technical exposure. However, some may feel challenges like:
- High competition in the Design industry.
- High expectations from employers.

- Cost of BFTech education can be financial burden for some students.
I believe NIFT's Delhi campus is the best among all the other campuses. It is the highest in ranking and has one of the best placements. But this doesn't mean that other NIFT campuses are lesser known or valuable.
