CSEET November 2025 admit card will be released anytime soon. Registered candidates can download the CSEET admit card online when released. ICSI is expected to release CSEET mock test soon after the admit cards are issued. For the upcoming session, CSEET November 2025 is scheduled to be held on November 8.

CSEET January 2026 registrations have commened at icsi.edu. Candidates willing to appear for the CSEET 2026 exam must apply before the window closes. Candidates can apply for CSEET 2026 online at icsi.edu. Registered candidates will be able to download the CSEET 2026 admit card for the January session 10 days prior to exam date. As per the official notification, the the CSEET 2026 exam will be held on January 10, 2026. ICSI will conduct the CSEET exam in remote proctored mode. Candidates can take the exam from any place ensuring to follow the exam day guidelines. The exam will be held for a duration of two hours. Candidates must report online for exam on given date and time.

What is CSEET?

CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is the qualifying entrance test for registration to the CS Executive programme. Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducts CSEET for students seeking admission to Company Secretaryship Course. CSEET exam test the aptitude for the Company Secretary profession. Students who have passed 12th (in any stream) will be eligible to appear for CSEET. To be a part of Company Secretary course, every student must go through the CSEET exam.

Q:   What happens if you fail in CSEET?

CSEET registration: The registrations for CSEET is open throughout the year. However, the period for particular sessions are as follows: a. October 16 to December 15- January session b. December 16 to April 15- May Session c. April 16 to July 10- July session d. July 11 to October 15- November session 2. Release of admit card: CSEET admit cards are released 10 days prior to the date of examination. 3. CSEET exam schedule a. Saturday/Sunday in second or third Week of January b. Q:   How many times can I give CSEET exam in a year?
A: 

CS Executive Entrance Test CSEET is conducted four times in a year- January, May, July, and November. There is no limitation in appearing for the CSEET exam in a year. However, candidates must note that they will have to register separately for the session they wish to appear for. Therefore, students can appear for the four sessions in a year subject to registration and payment for the CSEET application fee for each attempt. The upcoming CSEET 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on May 03, 2025 for which registrations are ongoing. Candidates willing to appear for the CSEET exam can apply for the May 2025 session examination on or before April 15, 2025.

Q:   What is the process after CSEET exam?
A: 
After appearing for the CSEET exam, the authorities will declare the CSEET results. Candidates meeting the qualifying criteria shall be declared pass. Candidates who will clear the CSEET exam will be able to register for the CS Executive examination for the upcoming session examination. The registrations for CS Executive examination is open throughout the year. Whereas, if the candidate does not clear the CSEET exam he/she can register again for the next session examination. Candidates must stay updated with the cutoff dates to appear for the CSEET exam.
Q:   What is the difference between CSEET old and new syllabus?
A: 
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India introduced the revised syllabus for CSEET under 2022. Here are the key difference between the old and new syllabus of CSEET: 1. Subjects: The number of subjects has been increased in CSEET. The new subject included in CSEET syllabus is Quantitative Aptitude in part 4. 2. Elimination of Viva Voce: Viva Voce section will now stand cancelled from November 2023 session examination onwards. Earlier the CSEET included of Presentation and Viva Voce section. 3. Entry route: The new syllabus has made the exclusive mode of entry through CSEET to CS course. The marks are distributed equally among each section of CSEET. CSEET Registration 2026

CSEET registration January 2026 is ongoing at icsi.edu. Candidates desiring to be a part of CS course must register for the CSEET exam November session. The CSEET 2026 application form is available in online mode only. Candidates must fill the online application form for November session on or before December 15, 2025

CSEET Eligibility Criteria

  • Now CSEET will be a mandatory qualifying test for all categories of students for registration to the Executive Programme except a few exempted categories. 
  • The candidate's age must not be less than 17 years on the date of application
  • To be eligible for CSEET, candidates must have completed Class 12
  • Graduate/Post Graduate candidates eligible to seek registration directly to the Executive Programme will also have to qualify CSEET to become eligible for registration to Executive Programme.

Admission to CS Executive Entrance Test CSEET is open throughout the year. However, certain cutoff dates have been fixed vis a vis the CSEET examination conducted in January, May, July and December every year. Following are the cutoff dates for CSEET 2026 exam:

Q:   What is the CSEET mode of examination? Will it be conducted from test centre?
A: 

CS Executive Entrance Test will be Computer Based Test (Remote Proctored). In this mode of examination the exam will be conducted through remote proctored instead of conducting it through the CSEET test centres. Candidates will be allowed to appear for the CSEET 2025 exam through their own laptops/desktops from home any other isolated and convenient place. Candidates must note that they will not be allowed to appear for the CSEET exam through Tablets, Mobile Phones or any other similar electronic item. CSEET 2025 May session examination is scheduled to be held on May 03, 2025 in remote proctored mode.

Q:   Is there any sectional time limit for CSEET exam?
A: 

According to the CSEET exam pattern, the question paper will be divided across four sections. The question paper will consist of total 140 questions. The total duration of the CSEET exam to attempt 140 questions is two hours. Candidates can attempt any section as per their preference, however, candidates must ensure to divide their time for each section wisely to complete all the section. There will be no sectional time limit to attempt the CSEET sections. However, candidates must note that timer and chalk the strategy to attempt the questions accordingly. Candidates will noit be given extra time to attempt the CSEET exam. The exam will close automatically when the duration ends.

Q:   What are the precautions to be taken to take CSEET exam?
A: 

Candidates appearing for the CSEET exam must take the following precautions:

1. The webcam must be placed in front of the system.

2. Candidate's face must be fully framed.

3. Candidate's face must be in the center of the webcam and the eye focus and contact should be on screen only.

4. Candidates must make sure that there is enough light in the room.

5. Hair, clothes, or any other object must not cover the face.

6. Sunglasses will not be allowed to be worn.

7. Candidates must make sure that there is no other individual in the exam room. 

8. Candidates will not be allowed any bio-breaks between the exam duration.

9. There must be no voices or noises in the background.

10. The exam must be taken in a safe exam browser with a full-screen window. 

11. No other application must be used during the test.

Q:   What is CSEET pass percentage?
A: 

CS Executive Entrance Test CSEET pass percentage refers the percentage of students who have cleared the CSEET exam for the particular session. ICSI releases the CSEET pass percentage for each session soon after the declaration of results. Earlier authorities released the CSEET January 2025 pass percentage soon after the declaration of results. The pass percentage for CSEET 2025 January session is 72.58%. 

Q:   When will ICSI announce CSEET results?
A: 

CSEET November 2025 results will be announced at icsi.edu. Candidates who will appear for the CSEET Nov 2025 exam can check their scores online on the official website of ICSI. CSEET results usually after 10 days of the examination. Candidates will be able to access their scorecard by entering the login credentials: Application number and Date of birth. The CSEET Nov 2025 session exam will be held on November 8, 2025. Candidates are notified about the CSEET result date soon after the release of notification. To download the CSEET 2025 scorecard candidates must follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1- Visit the official website

Step 2- Screen will display the login page; enter the following details:

  • CSEET Roll Number
  • Date of Birth

Step 3- Check in the box and click on the tab 'Login'

Step 4- Screen will now display the CSEET result. Check for the details mentioned

Step 5- Save and download the result.

Q:   What are the qualifying marks for CSEET exam?
A: 
The qualifying marks for CSEET is as follows: 1. The candidate need to score at least 40% in each paper/subject 2. The candidates have to obtain an aggregate of 50% marks in all papers combined. Candidates meeting the above qualifying criteria shall be declared pass. Qualified candidates will be able to register for the CS Executive programme. Candidates failing to meet the qualifying criteria can re appear for the CSEET exam for next session. Candidates will be required to register again for the CSEET exam.

Q:   When can I apply for CS Executive Programme examination?
A: 

Candidates who have qualified the CSEET exam will be able to apply for the CS Executive exam. CSEET November 2025 results will be announced soon after exam. Candidates who are declared 'pass' will be able to register for the CS Executive exam (single group). 

The CS Executive Dec 2025 exam dates have been announced. The exam will be held from December 22, 2025 onwards. Candidates are advised to stay updated with the cutoff dates of ICSI CS Executive June/December 2025 session at https://www.shiksha.com/college/icsi-delhi-institute-of-company-secretaries-of-india/icsi-exam-dates.

Q:   How will the live proctors control the online CSEET exam?
A: 

Live proctors will watch the CSEET exam online. The process will be coducted as:

  1. Proctors will be able to chat with the exam taker in an active chat session.
  2. Proctors can also communicate with the test takers through a microphone or camera.
  3. During the exam, the activities of the candidate and screen will be captured frequently.
  4. Each session is finished either by the test taker, automatically after the end of the allotted time, or by the proctor. All audio, video, text messages and recorded events are saved in the system and are attached to the session protocol.
  5. At the end of the exam, the proctor will leave a remark (positive or negative) about the candidate. If there are no violations during the exam, then the proctor will mark the candidate positive.
Q:   How can I contact helpdesk/live proctor in case of any issue/problem during the CSEET exam?
A: 

Until the candidate is not logged in for the CSEET exam, he/she can use their phone/mobile to contact the ICSI helpdesk for resolving technical dounts and assistance with login for the CSEET exam. Once the candidate is logged in and the test process has commenced then candidates cannot use their phones/mobiles. During the CSEET exam process, candidates should use only the chat box or built-in mic of the system to contact the live proctor for any assistance. The candidate can also wave his/her hand before the web camera. The use of mobile phones and any other electronic gadgets during the test is strictly not allowed. If found, the candidate will be disqualified from the exam.

Q:   Will I receive the physical copy of CSEET scorecard?
A: 
Candidates will not be issued any physical copy of the CSEET scorecard. On declaration of CSEET results candidates must login at the official website of ICSI ICET- (icsi (dot) edu) and download and take the print of the ICSI CSEET scorecard immediately. Candidates must check for the following details that will be mentioned on the ICSI CSEET scorecard: 1. Admission number 2. Name of the candidate 3. Result date 4. Roll number 5. Subject-wise scores 6. Result- pass/fail 7. Validity 8. Important instruction 9. Maximum score ICSI declared the CSEET May 2023 results on May 16, 2023. Candidates can download the scorecard from the official website of ICSI. Candidates must enter the login credentials to view the scorecard.
