TANCET or Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is the state level MBA entrance exam conducted by Anna University, Chennai. It is one of the most sought-after MBA entrance exam which approximately 40,000 aspirants take. TANCET is also conducted for admission to MCA courses. TANCET is the gateway to around 200 colleges across the state. While some colleges exclusively offer MBA programmes, certain colleges or institutes are multi-disciplinary or offer multiple courses across Computer Applications, Engineering or Architecture streams.
