- The Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies establishes the minimum admission requirements common to all applicants, usually a minimum overall average in the B+ range (76% at UBC)
- Applicants must hold a credential deemed academically equivalent to a four-year bachelor’s degree from UBC in engineering or a related discipline. Students who do not have a background in chemical engineering may be required to successfully complete selected essential background and core undergraduate courses in chemical engineering before receiving a degree
