About Toronto University
Founded in 1807, the University of Toronto is a public research university located in Queen’s Park, Toronto, Ontario. It has received a lot of scientific research funding and endowment from any Canadian University. University of Toronto History
University of Toronto was founded by Royal Charter in 1827 as the King's College and has now evolved into a complex institution. The university has three campuses and the main campus is at St. George. The other two satellite campuses of the university are located in Scarborough and Mississauga. Later in 1878, the School of Practical Science was established after the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering.
