Prerequisites for admission to the master's program are:
- An above-average bachelor's degree from a university or at least an equivalent degree from a university of applied sciences or vocational academy or dual university, whereby the course must have a minimum of 180 ECTS points, alternatively with at least three years of standard study time in civil engineering
- Necessary minimum knowledge and minimum achievements imparted by the bachelor's degree in the following areas:
- Statics and mechanics
- Mathematics
- Building materials and constructions to the extent
- as well as additional minimum knowledge and minimum achievements in three of the following areas:
- Structural engineering
- Water and Environment
- Mobility and infrastructure
- Technology and management in construction to the extent
