- Applicants must have a Second Class Honours Grade II in a primary honours degree (NFQ, Level 8) in any discipline except those with high levels of software development content (e.g. computer science, business information systems, etc.) with :-
- Minimum CGPA of 7.0 on a 10 point scale or Minimum CGPA 2.7 on a 4 point scale or
- A grade of 60-65% which is equivalent to a 2H2 where first division is awarded at 60% or a grade of 65-69% which is equivalent to a 2H2 where first division is awarded at 65%
