All the shortlisted candidates for this scholarship have admission offers from prestigious and high-ranking universities and institutes abroad. Many of these students are from IITs and other premier institutes in India and they going to join the likes of Harvard, Stanford, Oxford, and other such high-ranking universities abroad.

90 students secure K.C. Mahindra Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies abroad

Study Abroad: K.C. Mahindra Education Trust has awarded 90 exceptional students from India under the K.C. Mahindra Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies Abroad. The Trust will provide a total of INR 337 lakh to these students with the top three candidates getting INR 10 lakh each.

The selection panel included Bharat Doshi, Trustee of K.C Mahindra Education Trust; Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group; Rucha Nanavati, Chief Information Officer at Mahindra Group; Ranjan Pant, Board Member at Mahindra & Mahindra; Dr. Indu Shahani, President and Chancellor of ATLAS SkillTech University; and Ulhas Yargop, Trustee of K.C Mahindra Education Trust.

While commenting on the scholarship, Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group said, “It's an enriching experience to engage with some of the brightest young minds in India through the KCMET Post Graduate Studies Abroad Scholarship, something I eagerly look forward to every year. My heartiest congratulations to all the students!”








K.C. Mahindra Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies Abroad Recipients: More Details

The top three recipients of the K.C. Mahindra Scholarship for PG studies are:

  • Raj Patel - He is enrolled at Princeton University to study Finance;
  • Asmita Sood - She will study at Stanford University and the course she will pursue is Biomedical Data Science.
  • Savalee Tikle will go to Harvard University

INR 5 lakh each will be provided to 55 fellows, and INR 1 lakh each will be given to 32 fellows.

Candidates selected in high-ranking universities abroad

The selected students are from prestigious universities in India, 29 of these students are IIT graduates, others are from renowned colleges in India including Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture & Environmental Studies, SRCC, LSR, National Law Schools, NITs, and BITS Pilani. These students with sound educational backgrounds have been selected in the topmost universities abroad. 13 students were selected for Harvard University, 13 others were selected for Stanford University, 8 will join Carnegie Mellon; 6 each will go to the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Oxford; 5 each are selected for MIT and Columbia; 3 each at Cambridge University, John Hopkins, University of Chicago, and Yale University; 2 each at University of California, Princeton University, University of Berkeley, and Georgia Tech.
