The non-European aspirants can apply for the Scholarship and Grants offered by Aarhaus University Denmark by 15 September 2024. However, non-European citizens with permanent residence permits or equivalent in Denmark can apply by 15 October and they are exempted from paying tuition fees.

Study Abroad: Aarhus University Denmark offers scholarships to a limited number of most talented applicants from outside Europe. EU/EEA/Swiss students are not eligible to get scholarships from Aarhus University. The scholarships will be awarded to the applicants who are liable to pay tuition fees. The scholarship is available for a Master's degree only.

The applicants need to document their English language proficiency by submitting the following:

  • The aspirants can submit a test score of TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge English Qualifications. The minimum score requirement for IELTS is 6.5, for TOEFL (iBT) is 83, and for Cambridge English Qualifications, the minimum score should be 180.
  • They can submit certain diplomas and certificates from previous courses. To get excemption from documenting test scores, the student must have completed their Bachelor's or Master's degree at a university in Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Ireland or the USA.

Eligibility Criteria

The general admission requirements for admission to a Master's course at Aarhus University Denmark are:

The applicants must have completed a relevant and recognized Bachelor's degree which is equivalent to Danish Bachelor's degree in level and length.

They should meet the specific requirements for the chosen programme including the language requirements.

To meet the admission requirements of the Master's course the candidates have applied to, they can take supplementary courses at the university. The supplementary courses can be taken before, during and after completing the Bachelor's degree program.








"If you take supplementary courses after completing a Bachelor’s degree, the courses you take can only be taken into consideration in connection with applications to degree programmes with no restrictions on admission," reads the official statement.







Application Process

The application process is completely online. The application is divided into several phases including applicant's educational background, personal information, desired Master's programme and other related information and documentation.

"Please note that changes cannot be made after your application has been submitted. However, your application can be reopened for the purpose of uploading additional documentation. In this instance, the university will contact you to let you know which documentation is required," added the official statement.
