ASU, Anurag University To Offer Innovative Global Education Opportunities For Indian Students
Study Abroad: Arizona State University is on a spree of creating partnerships with Indian universities. After it recently collaborated with Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC), Chennai, it now partnered with Anurag University, Hyderabad.
Arizona State University (ASU) has collaborated with Anurag University, Hyderabad to provide innovative global education opportunities to Indian students. The alliance will help Indian students pursue various undergraduate and Master’s degrees in key disciplines such as Engineering, Computer Science, Business, and Management.
While commenting on the partnership, ASU President Michael M. Crow said, ”ASU, a global leader in innovation and higher education, is delighted to partner with AU to deliver innovative and immersive learning experiences. With over 6,600 Indian students currently enrolled, India is the top country of origin for ASU’s international student community. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in offering a range of seamless academic pathways, providing more Indian students with access to a global platform and equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in international careers.”

ASU Medical School Gets Founding Dean
Sarah Hollingsworth “Holly” Lisanby has been appointed as the founding dean of the ASU School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering. She will join her new role effective from May 1, 2025.
Executive Vice President and University Provost Nancy Gonzales said, “Dr. Lisanby brings the professional experience, the mindset and the energy to lead the new kind of medical school that we are creating at Arizona State University. Her skill set and her work in the convergence of psychiatry, neuroscience and engineering is a perfect match for what we seek to do with ASU’s School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering.”
