Bridgeport University, JB Educational Society collaborate for various initiatives
The president of Bridgeport University, Danielle Wilken and vice-president Elena Cahill were present while signing the agreement along with the Chairman, JB Educational Society, J.V.Krishna Rao, Director, Prof. Ch. Sanjay, and Principal, Dr. Krishnamachary.
University of Bridgeport, United States and J.B. Educational Society under the Chairmanship of J V Krishna Rao have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for various initiatives that include student mobility programs, joint research collaborations, faculty exchanges, and the development of online certificate programs.
“The University of Bridgeport, renowned for its diverse student and faculty community hailing from various parts of the world, shares a common commitment to fostering career readiness, innovation, and a supportive learning environment,” said vice-president Elena Cahill.
Chairman, JB Educational Society, J.V. Krishna Rao said, “We feel proud as we are the first Educational Society to sign an MoU in Telangana. Through this collaboration, both institutions endeavour to enrich the educational experience for their students, broaden their global perspectives, and contribute to advancements in research and academia."
Bridgeport University Fall Admissions Deadline is July 15
The applicants may submit the application form for admission up to twelve months in advance of the semester in which they wish to begin their studies at the university. The application fee will be waived for all students (graduate and undergraduate), said the official statement. The applications are thoroughly reviewed by the Admissions Committee before a final decision is taken.
Scholarship Requirements
Scholarships are for new incoming students only. Current students are not eligible. The official statement said that the student conduct must be consistent with standards set forth in the “Key to UB” and the respective academic program.
The following are the requirements for scholarships:
- The applicants must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA
- They should be enrolled as an official full-time student for each semester in which they receive the scholarship
- The scholarship will cover tuition only. Mandatory fees and food and housing charges are not covered by the scholarship
- Recipients of the scholarship will be expected to remain active participants in their area’s professional student organization

Visa-seeking international applicants with secondary or post-secondary degrees from the United States and/or these select countries are exempt from providing proof of English proficiency with their application package.
