Clarkson University Student Awarded Prestigious Gilman Scholarship for Study Abroad
Gracie Elliott from Clarkson University is among the 1,600 American undergraduate students who were awarded the prestigious Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship.
Study in US: A junior in the Honors Program and a Chemical Engineering major and literature minor Gracie Elliott from Clarkson University has been selected for the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship. She is among 1,600 American undergraduate students who were selected for the prestigious award.
"I have been aware of the scholarship since the summer after my freshman year, and once I heard about it, I knew I had to apply. I've always wanted to study abroad, so I connected with Clarkson’s Study Abroad Office early in my sophomore year to determine that DTU would be the best fit for my degree requirements and personal goals. I also worked closely with my advisor to ensure my courses would transfer back to Clarkson, keeping me on track for graduation," said Elliott.

Under this scholarship, during the upcoming Spring 2025 semester, she will study at the Denmark Technical University (DTU). She will get to engage in various coursework at DTU which will support her career aspirations and complement her chemical engineering.
