ETS announces special initiatives on completion of one year of Kashmir Valley’s First TOEFL & GRE Test Centre

On completion of one year of Kashmir Valley’s First TOEFL & GRE Test Centre, ETS, the conducting body of the test, has announced scholarships and competitions with a combined prize worth INR 50 lakhs for local students and they will also get free copies of The TOEFL Official Beginner's Guide for preparation.

Study Abroad: The TOEFL & GRE test centre in Kashmir has completed one year. It is located at Hashtag Educational Services in Regal Chowk, Srinagar. To celebrate the milestone, ETS has announced a specially prepared TOEFL Official Beginners Guide to help students prepare for the test which will be provided absolutely free of cost.

This guide includes full-length practice tests with sample responses, answer keys and access to audio files so that students can prepare well for the test.

ETS new initiatives

To help future test takers, ETS has announced several scholarships and competitions worth INR 52 lakhs. One of the national level initiatives includes the TOEFL India Championship offering a total prize money of INR 15 lakhs. It will provide a platform for participants to demonstrate their English proficiency and academic excellence.

There is another initiative GRE India Contest which takes the GRE test between May 20 and September 15, 2024 and offers a prize of INR 12 lakhs. It supports the aspirants to achieve their dream of studying at UK, US, Australian and Canadian universities.  Moreover, ETS TOEFL® partnered with the National Indian Students and Alumni Union (NISAU), and for 10 Indian scholars, it announced the 2nd Edition of the ‘UK-India TOEFL Scholarship’.  The total scholarship is worth INR 25 lakhs and each selected candidate will get a one-time scholarship of INR 2.5 lakhs.
