French Institute in India starts Largest On-Site Training for French Language Teachers at Amity University

The French Institute in India (IFI) joined forces with the Amity School of Foreign Languages to begin its annual French language Teacher Training program in partnership with Amity University, Noida.

In this intensive training program, six expert trainers from France and India will share their knowledge with participants. The objective is to provide pedagogical training tailored to the teaching contexts of French in schools, universities, and Alliances Françaises, taking into account the identified needs in these institutions.

For French language instructors, this is a great opportunity to refresh their expertise in contemporary teaching methods and improve their teaching techniques. This is the ninth edition of the program that IFI has been running since 2015. Each participant will attend 30 hours of training (2 x 15-hour modules) during the week, focused on particular facets of teaching methodology.

The Université Pédagogique Régionale - Inde 2024 program will educate over 86 French language teachers from across India and neighbouring countries of Central Asia and South Asia. The event is being held from May 27 and it will conclude on May 31, 2024.
