Social Entrepreneur from Bihar, Sharad Vivek Sagar, is among one of the 12 leaders included in a prestigious leadership course by Harvard University.

Study in US: A prestigious leadership course of Harvard University has included the journey of the noted social entrepreneur from Bihar, Sharad Vivek Sagar. The course is titled - “Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Learning.”

This course will be taught to Masters and Doctoral students at Harvard University and Sharad is one of the 12 leaders from across the globe whose life and work have been featured in this course.

While reacting to this, Sharad's message on X reads, "I am deeply honored to be one of 12 leaders featured in @Harvard University’s ‘Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Learning’ course. Reflecting on my journey with Professors Monica Higgins and Uche Amaechi on the A608 After Hours Podcast was a truly special experience."

 

Harvard University's Leadership Course: More Details

The course is known as Harvard Course A608. It is taught by Dr. Uche Amaechi and Professor Monica C. Higgins. As part of the “A608 After Hours Podcast” at Harvard University, the professor interviewed and recorded Sharad's work life and journey.

Sharad founded Dexterity Global in Patna, Bihar when he was 16 years old in 2008. The aim was to empower the young leaders and scholars from financially disadvantaged families and enable them to use their education to empower the country. Dexterity Global gets a scholarship of INR 2.75 billion from the world's top 500 universities.








Dexterity was termed an ‘unusual institution’ by Nobel Prize-winning economist Professor Abhijit Banerjee and The Telegraph said the students of the institute are the future of India, as reported by MSN.
