QS Best Student Cities 2025 Rankings OUT; London remains at top for sixth consecutive edition

With study abroad aspirants increasing every year, it is important to know about the world's most student-friendly locations. QS Best Student Cities 2025 rankings are released, know in detail about the best options available for aspirants.

Study Abroad: QS Best Student Cities Rankings are in its 12th year and the list of QS Best Student Cities 2025 rankings is released. The rankings compared 150 study destinations in indicators important to international students including affordability, student feedback, university ranking, diversity and employment opportunities.

The top 10 QS Best Student Cities 2025 are -

London remains at the top for the sixth consecutive edition due to its world-class universities, achieving the second-best score in the World University Rankings indicator, after Seoul. London is home to two of the world’s top 10 universities in the recently released QS World University Rankings 2025. It provides a diverse and eclectic student population, boasting the world’s seventh-best score for Student Mix. The city offers exceptional career opportunities, placing fourth in Employer Activity and has excellent feedback from current and former students, placing third for Student Voice, behind Berlin and Melbourne.

QS Best Student Cities 2025 Rankings: More Details

Australia has two best cities - Melbourne at 5th and Sydney at 6th. Auckland, in New Zealand, was placed at 24th.

"With Munich and Berlin, London and Edinburgh, and Zurich and Lausanne, Germany, the UK and Switzerland have solid representation in the top 20. Berlin is the most well-regarded city among current and former students. Copenhagen and Zurich are second and third for Desirability, respectively," said the QS statement.

Canada boasts three of the world’s best student cities – Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver are 10th, 11th and 19th respectively. Boston in the US dropped from 10th to 16th. New York is the second-best city for students in the United States, placing 19th.
