Saint Louis University: International Students Can Apply For Early Decision II
For international students whose number one choice was not Saint Louis University and who needed more time to decide by visiting campus, they can now apply through Early Decision II. The deadline for this is January 16, 2024.
Study in US: Saint Louis University welcomes international students from over 90 countries across the globe every year. The university has a diverse community of students. Interested candidates who missed the deadline of the Early Decision 1 by November 1, can apply for Early Decision II by January 16, 2024. Admission status notification will start on February 1, 2025.
The university offers many competitive master's and doctoral courses.
"Please note, Early Decision II is binding — if you are admitted, you are committed to attending and required to withdraw all applications from other institutions. In order to complete your Early Decision application, in addition to required application materials, all parties must sign your Early Decision Agreement," reads the official statement.
How To Apply At Saint Louis University
The following steps need to be followed to apply for the university:
Step 1: Fill out the online application form. The students need to fill in their citizenship and educational background. If applying for the first time, the students will also need to submit an essay. There is no application fee for the undergraduate programs.
Step 2: Submit academic records. The applicants need to provide all academic records of secondary and post-secondary institutes.
Step 3: English language proficiency proof is required. One may submit the scores of PTE, SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo score. The score results must be directly sent from the testing agency to the SLU university which takes around 4 weeks.
Step 4: Submit recommendation letters. It is not mandatory but it is encouraged that the students must submit the recommendation letter.
University's Support Services For International Students
There are university counsellors who assist students in filling out the application form and transitioning to the US. They help them understand about required documents and scholarship options. The counsellors evaluate the submitted document, explain about placement exams, housing and registration survey and introduce international students to the university.
