Strathclyde Business School Glasgow offers scholarships for international students - September 2024
There are a total of 35 scholarships. The last date to apply for this scholarship is 31 August 2024. It will cover the tuition fees of the selected candidates.
It will be awarded based on merit and not on the financial requirements of the candidates. They must demonstrate excellent academic performance in both their master's programme application and Scholarship Application. They should also enter relevant professional experience and extra-curricular experiences.
“Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from mid-January 2024 onwards and the final deadline for consideration of applications will be 31st August 2024. Please do not submit duplicate applications as all forms and statements submitted will remain under consideration,” reads the official statement.
Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility conditions:
- The candidates must have an offer of a programme for September 2024 intake and must be self-funded.
- This scholarship can not be given in combination with any other scholarship of the Strathclyde Business School.
- Those who are enrolled in online and blended learning programmes are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Candidates should not submit duplicate documents.
"Candidates interested in applying should provide a maximum 1000 word statement demonstrating, through their ideas, experience and future career plans (including their reasoning for joining their chosen programme and why they should be awarded this scholarship," added the official statement.
It is available for various subjects including Human resource management, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Accounting & Finance, Business, Management, Marketing, Management Science, and Data Analytics.
Scholarship awardees are expected to engage in the following activities while pursuing their course:
- They must actively participate in the class rep committee and social committee
- They must contribute to and monitor the future applicant forums and respond to the courses with relevant information.
- It is expected that they will volunteer as an admissions contact for future students
- Must assist the school in the management and development of events
- Alumni communication post-MSc completion should be retained by the students.
