Study Abroad: Over 1200 students to graduate next week at Birkbeck University Of London
On the graduation days of Birkbeck University Of London, a total of 1,245 postgraduate students are poised to graduate.
Graduation Ceremony of Birkbeck University Of London will be from April 22 to April 25, 2024. During the events, a total of 1,245 postgraduate students are poised to graduate. The events will be broadcast via live stream and the graduands will be accompanied by the Birkbeck staff and loved ones.
Professor Sally Wheeler, Vice-Chancellor of Birkbeck, said, “I would like to convey my warmest congratulations to all students graduating next week, who have shown such dedication to their education and personal development. I am immensely proud and wish you all the best in the future as you become part of our community of alumni."
In addition to being addressed by Baroness Joan Bakewell, President of Birkbeck, the graduating students will hear insights shared by esteemed guests and speakers including - Anne-Marie Huby, Dr Lauren Barnett, William Sarenden, Professor Susan James, Dr Hazel Willis, Dr Kate Mackenzie Davey, and Robert Allison.
Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships
The loan and scholarships offered by the university will depend on the level you are planning to study, these are - postgraduate financial support, PhD funding, and Birkbeck Lifelong Learning Guarantee (alumni discount). The university offers many scholarships, some also through partnerships. The new Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships (Autumn 2024) for international students is domiciled in India.
Eligibility Criteria: The following are the eligibility criteria -
- Applicant must be an international student paying international tuition fees
- Must be a new student, starting your first year of study in 2024.
- They have an offer and be enrolled (in October 2024) on one of our full-time undergraduate or master's courses starting in October 2024
- Studying a full-time undergraduate course (courses with foundation years are not eligible for this scholarship) or studying a full-time master's course (postgraduate certificates, postgraduate diplomas and graduate diplomas are not eligible for this scholarship)
- Be ordinarily domiciled in India.
The amount given to full-time undergraduate degrees is a £500 tuition fee discount, per year of enrolment, over a maximum period of three years (total of £1,500; £500 per year, over three years) and £1,500 tuition fee reduction for the first year of enrolment only for full-time master's course.
No separate application is needed for this scholarship, those who meet eligibility criteria, will be applied automatically at the point of enrolment.
