Study in Australia: Adelaide University launches to world with new brand!
Adelaide University has launched a new brand with nearly 200 coursework programs for international students and a new website.
Study Abroad: Adelaide University has introduced a new website, brand and 200 courses for international students to start in 2026. Interested candidates can now enquire about these courses.
Adelaide University co-Vice Chancellors, Professor Peter Høj AC and Professor David Lloyd, said in a joint statement, "This is a pivotal milestone for South Australia, and for the communities of the University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide who are creating the new institution, together. Adelaide University is the first new major Australian university this century.”
“Today’s launch marks a momentous step – for future generations of learners, global researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs – with a contemporary and comprehensive for-purpose university at scale that will break ground and be a force for good," they added.
"Our approach to developing Adelaide University’s visual expression ensures that we have a compelling brand that will endure for decades to come. It builds on the foundations of our existing universities to deliver the needs of the global citizens of tomorrow, while becoming a member of the prestigious research-intensive Group of Eight (Go8)," said Professors Høj and Lloyd.
Application process to start in 2025
The university will offer a comprehensive set of programs comprising all major disciples. The programs' subset will be according to the interest of international students. More programs will be released progressively. International students will be able to apply for these programs from 2025 and the academic year will commence in 2026.
These programs will have a flexible academic calendar, stackable, modular, and work-integrated learning, and a digital underpinning that embraces AI technologies.
“It caters for lifelong learners from all backgrounds, who will receive Australia’s most accessible, contemporary and future-focused education. Our graduates will be equipped to address the multigenerational needs of our state and nation, and the critical challenges of our rapidly changing world. Adelaide University will launch bright futures. We also aim to be in the top five nationally for student experience, providing a holistic and connected student journey that empowers our learners to transform themselves, their communities and the world – to be the best they can be by unlocking their potential and discovering their purpose,” said Professors Lloyd and Høj.
