Study in Australia with MYCOS Scholarships 2025 for PhD students
The last date to apply for MYCOS Scholarships 2025 for PhD Students is May 15, 2024. Students can check the status on June 3, 2024, interviews will be held between June 10 to June 14, 2024.
Study in Australia: Medical University Innsbruck (MUI) and the University of Innsbruck (UIBK) have announced that it is accepting PhD candidates through the MYCOS research program. The applications are open for the MYCOS Scholarships 2025 for PhD who want to pursue research in antimycotic resistance focusing on the “One Health Approach.”
The funding has been secured to support 11 PhD candidates over three years.
Eligibility Criteria for MYCOS Scholarships 2025
The following are the eligibility criteria:
- Master’s degree in natural sciences, medical sciences, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English at the C1 level (Cambridge, TOEFL-IBT, IELTS) or native speaker status.
Interested candidates can fill out the online form at (https://www.mui-mycos.at/content/home/application/) before May 15, 2024. Once the application form is submitted it cannot be edited later. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for online interviews to be held from June 10-14, 2024.
PhD students may choose from a variety of engaging projects, including - the impact of azole fungicides on the environment and health, investigating azole resistance in fungi from different habitats, and exploring innovative treatments for azole-resistant pathogens.
