University of Montreal UdeM Exemption Scholarship Application Process Details

As per the university's official statement, the admission period for international students ends several weeks before the session begins because more time is needed to complete the formalities of coming to Canada and Quebec.

"Please note that foreign students must allow for 3 to 6 months to complete all the formalities required to study in Canada. If these formalities are not completed in time, you will have to file a new application at a later date," reads the official statement.

Eligibility Requirement

For admissions to graduate programs including microprograms, DESS and Master’s, the candidates need to have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. For those who seek admission to postgraduate programs (PhD), they must have a Master's degree or equivalent.

"Holding the required degree does not however guarantee admission. Specific admission requirements also appear in each program description," said the official statement.
