Currently, the registration is going on for the UNS Scholarship to study in Indonesia. The last date to apply for the scholarship is September 30, 2024.

Study Abroad: Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) invited prospective international students for doctoral, master and bachelor programs at UNS through the UNS Scholarship scheme and self-funding.

There is a full scholarship that offers coverage of tuition fee waiver and a monthly living allowance of IDR 2.250.000 for a doctoral program, IDR 1.750.000 for a master program, and IDR 1.500.000 for a bachelor program, health insurance and free Indonesian language course. Partial Scholarship includes health insurance, free Indonesian language course, and a tuition fee waiver.

This scholarship is available for all programs including for the programs in the Faculty of Medicine or Medical Sciences. The scholarship will not cover other fees and expenses such as visas, airfare, accommodation and immigration fees, transportation, meals, personal expenses and additional health insurance.

Eligibility Requirements

The following are the eligibility requirements for the UNS Scholarship:

  • The applicants must be non-Indonesian citizens
  • They must be interested in the bachelor's degree program at UNS
  • The age limit should be below 24 years of age while filling out the application
  • They must attend an interview over a video call
  • The applicant must not have a refugee status and have not been convicted of criminal activities.
  • They must provide all required documents and have financial support

Documents needed include - a recent health certificate, formal photograph, colour scan of a valid passport, academic transcripts, financial statement, curriculum vitae, certificate of English language proficiency, certificate of Indonesian language proficiency, and two letters of recommendation.








"Applicants must show competence in English, shown by a TOEFL certificate with minimum score of 450 for natural science programs and 500 for social science programs, or certificates of other academic English proficiency tests having equivalent scores. Applicants who get admitted are required to complete the Indonesian language course organized by the UNS Language Centre. This course is covered by the scholarship," reads the official statement.







The initial interview will be held between 14 - 16 October 2024 and the Final Interview will be on 30 - 31 October 2024.
