Indian applicants can apply for the India Young Professionals Scheme Ballot by 18 July 2024 up to 1:30 pm India Standard Time. India Young Professionals Scheme visa allows Indians in the age group of 18 to 30 years to live and work in the UK for a period of two years.

Young Indians looking to live and work in the UK must note that the last date to apply for the India Young Professionals Scheme Ballot is 18 July 2024 up to 1:30 pm India Standard Time. It is a great opportunity for Indians between the age group of 18 to 30 years who want to get jobs in the United Kingdom.

UK government has started a ballot system for India Young Professionals Scheme Visa on the official website - gov.uk. Entering the ballot is mandatory for Indians who want to apply for an India Young Professionals Scheme visa. While applying for the ballot, the candidates need to provide their Name, Date of Birth, Passport Details, email address, phone number, and a scan or photo of their passport. The applicants will receive their results within 2 weeks of ballot closing. UK government will pick the successful entries at random.

The ballot filling is free and only those candidates who plan to apply for the India Young Professionals Scheme Visa must fill it. The visa application fee is £298 and students should also meet educational, financial and other requirements.








"You can only submit one entry per person for each ballot. Any further attempts to enter will not be counted," reads the official statement.

"If you’re successful in the ballot, you’ll be invited to apply for a visa. You’ll have 90 days from the date of the email to apply online, pay the visa application fee, including the immigration health surcharge and provide your biometrics," added the official statement.







Eligibility Criteria for India Young Professionals Scheme Ballot

The following are the eligibility conditions:

  • The candidate should be an Indian citizen or national in the age group of 18 to 30 years old.
  • His/her qualification should be a minimum of a bachelor's degree or above.
  • The candidate must have £2,530 in savings to support themselves in the country
  • Should not have any children under the age of 18 who is financially dependent on the candidate.
