The University of Bristol is currently accepting applications for the 2025 intake. According to the official website, the equal consideration deadline for undergraduate applications is January 31 during the chosen year in which the student wants to apply.

Those who want to apply for the dentistry, medicine or veterinary course in 2025, cannot apply now as the deadline for these courses is October 16 for entry to the following year, hence the deadline for 2025 intake is closed. International students who need a visa and will be enrolling in specific engineering and undergraduate science courses at the master's level might need an Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) certificate to get a visa. There are a few exceptions for the ATAS certificate - those who apply from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, USA, and Switzerland.

Entry Requirements For Indian Students At University Of Bristol

The following are the entry requirements for Indian students applying to undergraduate courses:

  • These requirements depend on the undergraduate programs for which the students are applying and also on the student's 12 examination boards and subjects taken.
  • For English language requirements, CBSE or CISCE English with 70-80% or above can be accepted in lieu of tests like IELTS.
  • For CBSE and CISCE, typical offers range from 80% (equivalent to ABB at A-level) to 90% (equivalent to A*AA at A-level).

For postgraduate courses, the following are the entry requirements:

  • The applicants should have a bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 6/10 or 60% from an accepted Indian university.
  • For law programmes, the applicants should have a minimum of 55-60% marks from accepted Indian universities.
