Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship in the UK offers study opportunities to international students with outstanding potential. Those who want to apply for this scholarship and become innovators and leaders when they return to their home countries, need to apply by October 15, 2024.

Those who are interested in pursuing Master's courses in the UK other than MBA, can apply for the Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship 2025. The window for this scholarship is all set to close on October 15, 2024. The candidates are advised to apply soon.

Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) funds this scholarship. Interested candidates can apply through the official website - cscuk.fcdo.gov.uk. Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) will fund only one year taught Master's programme.

Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship 2025: Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility conditions:

• The applicant can be a British Protected Person or citizen of an eligible Commonwealth country or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country.
• They can be a permanent resident of eligible countries.
• Should have an offer to start their academic course in the UK from September 2025 and must also be available to do so.
• Must have submitted all the required documents.
• They need this scholarship and are unable to study in the UK without a scholarship.
• Must have a relevant postgraduate qualification or first degree of at least upper second-class honours standard (2:1) or a lower second-class degree.

Tips to fill Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship 2025 application form

The applicants must fill in the following information in the application form:

• They need to fill out all undergraduate and postgraduate university qualifications.
• Enter 10 prizes and publications.
• Enter professional experiences and explain how they are relevant to the program to be undertaken in the UK.
• They should fill the Development Impact statement in four parts.
• Provide names and positions of three referees.

Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship 2025: Financial Assistance

The scholarship will cover full tuition fees and will provide a stipend of £1,378 per month. For those at universities in the London metropolitan area, the stipend will be £1,690 per month, the selected candidates will get approved airfare from and to their home country, and more.

"A Commonwealth Scholarship covers fees, approved fares, and personal maintenance. Other scholarships, awards, or bursaries that cover the same costs may not be held concurrently," reads the official statement.
