Study In UK: University Of East Anglia Introduces MSc In Artificial Intelligence
University Of East Anglia has announced a one-year MSc in Artificial Intelligence program for 2025. The UK university will offer theoretical knowledge with hands-on learning in AI-related fields.
The University of East Anglia in the UK has launched its new MSc in Artificial Intelligence for 2025 to prepare students for a specialist career in the rapidly evolving AI career. The program provides flexible study options where the students can complete the course through full-time mode in 12 months and they can also pursue it in the part-time mode over 24 to 36 months.
The MSc In Artificial Intelligence modules are classified into compulsory and optional categories. The compulsory modules include professional skills, advanced AI, and the dissertation. The optional category has around 10 optional modules covering AI and its applications.
"Assessments are carried out largely by coursework assignments and possibly lab tests or examinations, depending on the individual module. For this course, almost all the modules are assessed with two coursework assignments with different weights with a purpose of learning real-world problem-solving skills and gaining more practical experiences," says the university statement.
The fee for UK students is £11,775 and for international students, it is £24,500.
"f you choose to study part-time, the fee per annum will be half the annual fee for that year, or a pro-rata fee for the module credit you are taking (only available for Home students). We estimate living expenses at £1,136 per month," added the university statement.
MSc In Artificial Intelligence: Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility requirements:
- The course is open to both UK and international fee-paying students.
- To apply to this course, the students need to have a Bachelor’s degree (UK’s 2.2 or above or equivalent) in any discipline.
- Before starting the course, the students must have some experience in programming ideally in Python.
- Those who do not have Python skills are advised to learn some basics using online open sources or through the recorded lectures provided by the University Of East Anglia.
- The students applying from countries whose first language is not English need to provide the English language test scores. The university accepts IELTS scores which should be a minimum of 6.0 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in Speaking and Writing and 5.5 in Reading and Listening.
