Study in US: Apply for Northeastern University College of Engineering Graduate Admissions
The deadline to apply for the Northeastern University College of Engineering Graduate Admissions by all international applicants from outside the United States is October 1, 2024.
It is one of the top-ranked engineering universities and a highly selective R1 research university. It offers an innovative educational approach combining experiential learning and rigorous academics. Applicants from outside the US must apply by October 1, 2024.
Applications received by this date will get full consideration and the applications submitted after this date will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The application must be filled out online and applicants must pay an application fee of $100 USD online by credit card. For some programs, the application fee is waived in the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025. These programs include - MS Information Systems Bridge, MS Wireless and Network Engineering, and MS in Internet of Things.
University College of Engineering Graduate Admissions: Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility requirements:
- The candidate must have completed the bachelor's degree in engineering or in technology or should be in the process of completing it.
- Students from other backgrounds can also apply for some engineering degree programs.
- The applicants should provide two letters of recommendation. These should be either professional or academic in nature but should be from individuals familiar with personal, professional, and technical qualifications.
- The university requires unofficial copies of transcripts of Bachelor's and higher degrees. They can be submitted after admission to the Graduate School of Engineering.
- The students can upload scanned versions of transcripts in PDF format with up to 500 KB in size. The transcripts must be readable and include all grades and courses.
- They must also provide a resume and a statement of purpose
About ASEE’s 2024 First-Year Engineering Experience (FYEE) Conference
This was a three-day conference, organized by the first-year Engineering Program and the College of Engineering. The participants were students, parents, members of academia and industry and they focused on supporting the “whole student.”
The conference covered various topics including rethinking first-year engineering, methods to enhance student learning, improving student engagement, entrepreneurial mindset, supporting neurodivergent students, belonging and self-efficacy strategies.
The theme of the conference was “The ‘Whole Student’: Helping First-Year Engineering Students Succeed Across Multiple Dimensions.”
