Arizona State University is all set to graduate over 11,000 students who are ready to join some of the top companies in the World.

This month, over 11,000 students will be graduating from Arizona State University. Many of them will be recruited by the top companies including Amazon, Deloitte, and Honeywell. ASU 2024 Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony will be held on December 16, 2024.

“Of the 11,300 graduate and undergraduate students – a 3% increase in graduates over fall 2023 – Arizona residents make up about 40%, or just over 4,500,” says the official statement of the university.

Moreover, among the students graduating in December, over 3,700 are the first ones in their families to earn a college degree. The university celebrated reaching 100,000 graduates this summer.

ASU Graduation Celebration Details

The university focuses on making students work-ready through a focus on engineering, sustainability, health care, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. The ASU graduates are known for their ability to combine professional skills with a commitment to lifelong learning and a global perspective.

Highlights of this fall’s graduating class include:

  • 7,510 are undergraduates out of those who applied to graduate
  • The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences saw the largest number of graduating students which stood at 2,447, next was from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering - 2,098, and 1,394 students graduated from the W. P. Carey School of Business.
  • 1,378 graduate students are international students.

Pat Tillman Veterans Center At ASU To Honour 714 Graduating Student Veterans

At its biannual Honor Stole Ceremony on December 14, the Pat Tillman Veterans Center at Arizona State University will see 714 graduating student veterans.








Shawn Banzhaf, Pat Tillman Veterans Center executive director commented, “Helping veterans achieve success from transitioning to ASU and then on to a career is at the heart of what we do. We are driven every day by our center’s namesake, Pat Tillman, and the values he embodied—selfless service, academic excellence, and the drive to make a positive impact. It’s an honour to support the journey of all of our military-affiliated students as we strive to provide them with the tools for lifelong success.”







"The 714 graduating military-affiliated students include veterans, active duty, Guard and Reserve members. Their average cumulative GPA is 3.64.  An additional 501 military-affiliated family members are also graduating, totaling 1,215 military-connected learners," says ASU statement.
