Technological University Of The Shannon Strengthens Academic Partnerships In India
Technological University of the Shannon’s delegation visited India to improve the existing educational partnerships in India and they also showcased more opportunities for Indian students.
Study in Ireland: The Technological University of Shannon’s high-level delegation visited New Delhi to strengthen the educational partnerships with Indian institutes and to foster new ones.
TUS President Prof. Vincent Cunnane and Vice President of Internationalisation & Alumni headed the delegation's visit. Donnacha McNamara interacted with institutes like Bennett University, Amity University, Jamia Milia Islamia, Geeta University, and Hindu College to make new partnerships with Indian institutes and to encourage student exchange programs.
TUS President Prof Vincent Cunnane commented, "TUS is committed to developing global partnerships that improve not only educational experiences but also contribute positively to society. Our engagement with our partners in India reflects our commitment to deliver Indian students a comprehensive, industry-focused education that equips them for tomorrow's world."

We are highly focused at converging efforts in supporting the pursuit for quality higher education by Indian students and look forward to further collaborations notably within the areas of dual and blended programs.”
TUS Ireland Delegation's Visit To India: Details
The delegation showcased a presentation and engaged in a panel discussion. The presentation included TUS commitment towards partnerships to guarantee academic excellence to Indian students with practical industry experience. The presentation also talked about its QS 5-Star status.
The Ireland university also highlighted its tailored programs for Indian students in fields such as Data Analytics, Business Analytics, IT, Pharma and Engineering. Through applied learning and specialized small class sizes, it combines the relevant industrial experience with the excellence of a research-driven education.
The courses like Product Design Control and Digital Marketing and Analytics offer placement options for students so that they can get hands-on exposure to the industry.
The official statement of the university said that presently, over 350 students from South Asia are enrolled with the university and the numbers are only expected to grow as the university offers a friendly and safe environment for students, there is more demand for its industry-relevant programs, and it provides good employability to graduates.
“This delegation visit has further provided interested Indian students with greater access to world-class educational resources and career-building opportunities as well as opened doors for collaborations between interested Indian schools and Universities and TUS,” says the official statement.
