UCD Ireland partners with BITS Law School, FLAME University
Ireland-based UCD entered partnerships with BITS Law School and FLAME University for Innovative Collaborations. UCD and BITS Law School will jointly offer a summer program in Law & Technology at UCD's Dublin campus.
Study in Ireland: University College Dublin (UCD) based in Ireland has inked strategic partnerships with two Indian institutions - BITS Law School and FLAME University.
The partnership is aimed at cultivating collaborative ventures and academic initiatives, charting a transformative path in the fields of Law, Technology, and Environmental Humanities.
"These collaborations exemplify the spirit of innovation, cooperation, and mutual respect that underpins the relationship between Ireland and India. With more than 7,000 Indian students choosing Ireland for their education in 2023, this partnership serves as a prime example of the strengthening bonds between our nations. By joining forces, we not only aim to advance knowledge and scholarship but also to pave the way for a more prosperous and sustainable future,” said Mr. Barry O'Driscoll, Regional Manager, Education in Ireland.
The partnership aims to address one of the most pressing challenges of our time while fostering cross-cultural dialogue and understanding.

"These partnerships will not only provide valuable opportunities for Indian students to study in Ireland but also foster cultural exchange and mutual learning, benefiting both nations," added Professor Dolores O'Riordan.
The signing of these partnerships coincides with the commemoration of a decade-long journey of the UCD South Asia Global Centre in nurturing connections in India, underscoring Ireland's steadfast commitment to strengthening its ties with India.
The alliance is supported by Education in Ireland the national brand representing Irish Higher Education Institutions worldwide.

Under the agreement, UCD and BITS Law School, which is affiliated with BITS Pilani, will jointly host a summer program in Law & Technology at UCD's Dublin campus.
The programme catering specifically to Indian students will provide them with an immersive experience in learning about crucial topics such as platform governance and artificial intelligence. This initiative opens avenues for research and teaching collaborations that delve into the intersection of law and technology.
UCD partnership with FLAME University Details
The Colleges of Social Sciences & Law and Arts & Humanities at UCD will join forces with researchers from FLAME University to embark on a collaborative journey in Environmental Humanities. This interdisciplinary step seeks to explore and understand the representation of climate change and its phenomena in contemporary art and culture.
