University of Mannheim: Admissions open for UG, PG courses Fall Semester 2024/25; Know Details

The fall semester application process for bachelor's programs will start on 1 June and end on 15 July 2024. The application deadline for Master’s programs of the fall semester 2024/2025 started on 10 April and will end on 15 May or 31 May 2024.

Study in Germany: Admissions are open at the University of Mannheim in Germany for both the undergraduate and postgraduate courses Fall Semester 2024/25.

The Fall semester will be between 1 August to 31 January. The application process will be held for the bachelor’s program between 1 June and 15 July 2024. For Master’s programs, the application process will start on 10 April and end on 15 May or 31 May 2024. For some master's programs for the spring semester, the application deadline for the spring semester 2025 is planned to begin on 15 October and end on 15 November 2024.

“if your application has been successful and you are allocated a study place, you need to enrol at the University of Mannheim to begin your studies. You can enrol at the Student Services,” reads the official statement.

Proof of German language proficiency is required

If you do not hold German citizenship or have a German university entrance qualification (Abitur or equivalent school leaving certificate), proof of German language proficiency equivalent to level C1 is required for all bachelor's and Teacher Education programs offered at the University of Mannheim.








To be eligible for the master’s programs, you need to hold a first degree and meet certain requirements that are specific to your chosen subject.

You can apply for your chosen degree program online. The documents need to be uploaded to the online application portal. You can view the status of your application online at any time. Each master's program has selection statutes outlining the admission requirements and selection criteria.







New Vice Presidents elected at University of Mannheim

On 1 October, Professor Dr. Thomas Fetzer’s term as new President of the University of Mannheim will start. The four Vice Presidents who will form the new President's Office are - Professor Dr. Jutta Mata, Professor Dr. Heiko Paulheim and Professor Dr. Cornelia Ruhe. 

“I am looking forward to working with the new members of the President’s Office. I am convinced that with this team, the university is ideally equipped for the challenges ahead. I am very happy that I was able to recruit four experienced colleagues from different disciplines to work together to further advance the university’s success,” says the designated President, Professor Dr. Thomas Fetzer. “By integrating digitalization into the President's Office for the first time, we are taking current developments into account and prepare the President's Office for the future. Digitalization will become even more important in research, teaching, and transfer,” said Fetzer.
