University Of Melbourne Offers Chancellor’s And Narrm Scholarships To Recognise Student Potential
The University of Melbourne has offered the prestigious Chancellor’s And Narrm Scholarships to 12 students and opened the doors to life-changing opportunities and a world-class education for them.
Study in Australia: The University of Melbourne has offered the University’s flagship Chancellor’s Scholarships and the Narrm Scholarships to 12 students.
While congratulating the recipients, University of Melbourne Interim Vice-Chancellor Professor Nicola Phillips said, "We are excited to welcome the latest intake of uniquely talented and inspiring young scholars to our University community. These students have set a high standard of achievement, which has now given them unique opportunities to study at one of the world’s great universities.”
“By increasing the number of scholarships we can offer, particularly through philanthropic support of the Narrm Scholarship Program, we’re able to unlock significantly greater opportunity for students to pursue their academic interests and aspirations, making sure that a University of Melbourne is open to talented students from all backgrounds.” Professor Phillips added.
University Of Melbourne's Scholarships Details
Among the many benefits, the scholars will also get the Melbourne Global Scholars Award of up to $2500 through Exchange and Study Abroad programs, and a generous annual allowance during the period of study. Narrm Scholarship Program is for students who face many hardships and barriers in pursuing higher education.
"The Melbourne Chancellor’s Scholarship is offered to school-leaver applicants who have satisfied prerequisites (and any extra requirements) and achieved an ATAR or equivalent of 99.9 or above, Bachelor of Music applicants who achieved an ATAR or equivalent of 99.85 or above, and Indigenous students who gained an ATAR of 90.00 or above," says the official statement of the university.
