University of Richmond: Applications to open SOON for Spring Semester!
The application forms for international applicants looking to enrol in Spring Semester will open in August and most of the deadlines are in mid-September. For Fall semester, the application process will be conducted from December to early February.
Study in USA: University of Richmond will soon accept applications for the Spring Semester from international students. The application process for the Spring semester is likely to start in August 2024 and will end by mid-September.
Interested candidates need to apply in two phases, in the first phase the students need to fill an online UR study abroad application on GatewayAbroad. While filling out the application form, the candidates can fill in 3 program options to be considered. The second phase starts after the application gets approved by the university. Then, the students can directly apply to the program/institution/host by their application deadline.
Steps to apply for 3 programs at University of Richmond
- Once the students decide on the three programs they want to be considered for, they need to visit these programs' brochure pages and click on "I'm Ready to Apply!"
- The students need to provide the order of preference for these three programs
- One of these programs should be an exchange/direct enrollment program so that the students get the chance to immerse in the foreign culture.
- The application asks short answers on interest, academic background and personal questions, a small motivational statement on your academic and personal goals through this study abroad experience.
- The applicant will need to read some documents and sign electronically.
- In some cases, they might need to submit approval from a language advisor and faculty recommendations.
- Students will be able to edit their applications by 11:59pm (midnight) on the deadline date.
Jepson School of Leadership Studies Dean named 2024 Fulbright Specialist
Sandra Peart, dean of the Jepson School of Leadership Studies at the University of Richmond has been selected for the 2024 Fulbright Specialist program which offers US professionals and academics a chance to participate in project-based exchanges with host universities across the globe. This exchange program can span between two to six week.
Under this program, she will visit the Universidad del Desarrollo in Santiago, Chile to support the development of undergraduate programs in Economics, Politics, and Philosophy.
“For over a decade, my research has focused on democratic ideals and processes. I am delighted and honored to work with colleagues at the Universidad del Desarrollo to support the development of this important program," Peart said.
