University Of Sheffield: Admissions open for MA International Political Economy Course
Study in UK: In this course, students will learn to solve real-world problems from experts who will bring their novel and important insights to the classroom discussion. The course attracts a diverse student body, some have already studied politics and international relations earlier and others may have little academic experience in the subject.
University Of Sheffield invited applications for the MA International Political Economy Course which is all set to start in September 2024. The aim of the course is to make students understand the global economy through the lens of political power dynamics, highlighting the interconnectedness of economics and politics.
The course will be delivered by the leading experts in the field of international political economy. This will offer students the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge research and analysis. The Overseas Annual Fee of 2024 is £23,760.
The duration of the course for full-time is one year whereas, for part-time, it is two years. The majority of the course will be taught through seminars which will offer an engaging and dynamic learning experience where candidates will be encouraged to investigate an issue from different perspectives to make arguments for which there is no correct answer just different implications and answers.
Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility requirements:
- Academic Qualifications: The candidates must hold a three-year bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% or "first class" in relevant arts, humanities, social sciences, or related subjects.
- English Language Proficiency: An overall IELTS score of 6.5, with no component below 6.0, or an equivalent qualification.
The course promises to develop a host of transferable skills in the students that will appeal to a range of employers. The recent graduates secured employment with the British Red Cross, the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy, WPP plc, UK Government, the International Development Research Network, the Ministry of Justice and Chulalongkorn University.
