University Of Sheffield Invites Applications For MSc Advanced Aerospace Technologies Course

The students will get to work with the professionals during the MSc Advanced Aerospace Technologies program which will improve their skills and employability chances.

Study in UK: The University of Sheffield is currently accepting applications for its MSc Advanced Aerospace Technologies course for the September 2025 intake. This is a one-year course to take the students' Aerospace Engineering knowledge to the next level.

In the comprehensive curriculum, the student will get to learn various subjects including traditional aeronautical subjects such as structures, materials, propulsion and aerodynamics, and also concepts of systems integration and flight control, which are important to the production of more efficient and environmentally friendly aerospace and aircraft systems. The students will be able to choose the specialization in avionics and aeromechanics.

The MSc Advanced Aerospace Technologies has taken expertise from three schools in the Faculty of Engineering. Such an in-depth curriculum will ensure that the students graduate with high skills in Aerospace Engineering. The 2025 annual fee for international students is £31,190.

MSc Advanced Aerospace Technologies: Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria:

• The applicants can have degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering for this specialised programme.
• Mechanical Engineering degrees with a strong aerospace component will also be considered.
• Those who do not have these qualifications but have the relevant experience would also be considered.
• Language requirements include - IELTS 7 with 6.5 in each component or University equivalent.

"The lists of required degree subjects and modules are indicative only; there may be instances where subjects or modules not listed are accepted, or where listed subjects or modules may not be accepted, depending on the content studied," reads the official statement.

Scholarship Deadline Is May 12, 2025

"The University is delighted to offer 75 International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarships in 2025. Each scholarship is a competitive award worth £10,000 towards the original tuition fee for a postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2025. The scholarships are available to all new international students who meet the eligibility criteria. The deadline for scholarship applications is 1 pm (UK time) on Monday 12 May 2025," added the official statement.
