University of Sheffield Invites Applications For MSc Human Nutrition
The MSc Human Nutrition offered by the University of Sheffield is accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN). After completing the course, the students will be qualified to work as Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr).
The University of Sheffield, UK is currently accepting applications for its MSc Human Nutrition course for the September 2025 intake.

Eligibility Criteria For MSc Human Nutrition Program
The following are the eligibility criteria for the course:
- The candidates should have a three-year/four-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- They must have scored a minimum of 55% in the relevant subject in their bachelor’s program.
- Degrees in the following subjects will be accepted including Biology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biomedical Science, Microbiology, Human Sciences, Human Sciences, Physiology, Nursing, Zoology, and Veterinary Sciences.
- An IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6 in each component.
University Of Sheffield's MSc Human Nutrition: More Details
The annual fee in 2025 for international students is £29,030. The comprehensive program gives a strong foundation in nutritional science, including physiology and biochemistry. It will help students understand how the body responds to food and nutritional needs. The students will be able to participate in hands-on lab sessions to measure body composition, energy balance and food analysis. The students will also learn about global nutrition and public health nutrition. They will learn about clinical nutrition and the relationship between, health, diet, and disease. Also, about how nutrition can prevent and manage conditions like chronic metabolic disorders.
“They will also learn about exciting advances in nutrition and current topics in the field. Furthermore, students will learn about sustainable nutrition and food systems, and how climate change is affecting food and nutrition. They will be able to get valuable hands-on practical skills in public health through conducting a real nutrition outreach event for members of the public,” added the university statement.
