University Of Strathclyde Invites Applications For Engineering International Scholarships

The scholarship is for international (non-EU) fee-paying offer holders who are self funded and starting their course in January 2025.
The Faculty of Engineering International Scholarship (FEIS) award offers a 15% reduction in tuition fees. Moreover, there is a Strathclyde Diamond Jubilee Scholarship to mark the conclusion of the Diamond Jubilee year. This scholarship is worth £2,000. The combined scholarship includes the Faculty of Engineering Scholarship and Strathclyde Diamond Jubilee Scholarship and it adds up to £6,240. There is no need to apply separately for this award as it will be given to the eligible candidates automatically.
"The amount varies for selected courses with a different fee, including courses within Architecture and Civil and Environmental Engineering and Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering," reads the official statement.
Eligibility Criteria For University Of Strathclyde Engineering International Scholarships
It is open to international (non-EU) fee-paying applicants who are self-funded, and enrolling for a full-time course commencing in January 2025.
It can not be provided with other scholarships as if students receive full scholarships from the embassy or government office, then they are not eligible for the combined scholarship. The combined engineering scholarships are open to the following subjects - Mechanical & aerospace engineering, Electronic & electrical engineering, Aeronautical engineering, Naval architecture ocean & marine engineering, Environmental engineering, Civil engineering, Naval architecture, Mechanical engineering, Product design, Ocean engineering, Renewable energy, Prosthetics & orthotics, Marine Engineering, Engineering, Biomedical engineering, Architecture, Design manufacture & engineering management, Chemical engineering, and Civil & environmental engineering.
"Students who do not meet any of the required criteria in this announcement will automatically not be considered. The Faculty of Engineering's decision on the awarding of scholarships is final," added the official statement.
