University of Strathclyde offers Dean's Scholarships to International Students
University of Strathclyde, Glasgow had invited applications for Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences: Postgraduate Taught International Scholarships also known as Dean's Scholarships from international students for admission in 2025. The last date to apply for the scholarship is December 2, 2024.
Study in UK: The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow is currently accepting applications for the limited number of Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences: Postgraduate Taught International Scholarships also called Dean's International Excellence Awards January 2025. The award is worth between £4,000 and £5,000. The scholarship is open to all international students with exceptional academic results.
International (non-EU), self-funded and fee-paying offer-holders are encouraged to apply for the Dean's Scholarships to International Students. To be eligible to get this scholarship, the applicant must have a full-time postgraduate taught degree programme offer for the program starting from January 2025. It is available for programmes under the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences. The application deadline is December 2, 2024.
The scholarship amount will be funded towards the tuition fees and it will be offered for a duration of one year.
Eligibility Criteria for Dean's International Excellence Awards
The following are the eligibility criteria:
- The scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis. The candidates need to be outstanding academically and also have professional experience or extra-curricular activities.
- The applicant should also demonstrate their ability to contribute significantly to the university community and later in their chosen profession later on.
Dean's Scholarships: More Details
The applicants are advised to submit their application forms as soon as possible. They must have a full-time offer for courses starting in January 2025. The scholarship will be awarded on a rolling basis and it is not applicable to online and blended learning programmes. They can apply for only one scholarship per academic year. The recipients of this scholarship are expected to be university ambassadors and engage with students during the course. They must support university events and the student recruitment process.
