University of Strathclyde offers Faculty of Science Masters Scholarship for International Students - January 2025
Study in UK: The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow has announced to offer Faculty of Science Masters Scholarship for International Students for January 2025 admissions.
Indian students who are looking to study in the UK can apply for the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow’s Faculty of Science Masters Scholarship for International Students - January 2025. The value of this scholarship is between £5,000 - £7,000.
It will be available to international students joining the following courses - MSc Advanced Computer Science with Software Engineering, MSc Advanced Computer Science with Data Science, and MSc Advanced Computer Science, in the academic year starting from January 2025.
There are up to 25 scholarships available. It is for a one-year duration and will be paid towards tuition fees. The last date to apply for the scholarship is December 12, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria, Other Details
To apply for the Faculty of Science International Masters Scholarship, the following are the eligibility conditions:
The applicant should be international and a fee-paying student.
They must have an offer of admission to a full-time course in one of the above-mentioned programs.
The applicant should be self-funded. Those who are getting any other scholarships including from the embassy or government office will not be eligible to apply.
It is a competitive scholarship and will be given to students with excellent academic records. Professional experience and extracurricular activities will also be considered. The scholarship will be awarded on a rolling basis. The applicants are advised to apply early as awards may be allocated early in the application cycle.
Those who will be selected for this scholarship will be notified within four weeks of getting an admission offer. Those who will be awarded the scholarship must pay their deposit before November 14. If the scholarship is awarded later, the selected candidate must deposit the pay within two weeks of receipt of the award.
“Scholarship recipients will be expected to engage with student ambassador activities during their course of study, such as supporting student recruitment activities and events. Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis. Awards may be allocated early in the application cycle,” reads the official statement.
