Washington University, IIT Bombay invite applications for joint Executive MBA Program January 2025
The collaboration between IIT Bombay and Washington University aims to address issues faced by CXOs and top executives.
Study Abroad: Washington University and IIT Bombay are all set to launch their 10th batch of Executive MBA programs in January 2025. The program is known to provide high standards of management practices and the participants are mostly from diverse functions and industries.
The launch event will be held at IIT Bombay. It will bring together emerging leaders of management and the seasoned professionals. The collaboration offers a joint degree to the students. The program enables students equipped with latest management skills and also fosters leadership in the participants.
The 10th cohort will be a diverse mix of senior executives, entrepreneurs and professionals in leadership roles. The batch is reportedly characterized by its change-embracing, tech-savvy and performance-driven ethos, as reported by The Print.
Executive MBA Program Details
The program is of 18 months duration. It offers a modular curriculum on general management. The program has three residency teaching modules in Washington D.C. and 17 in India. The program also provides executive coaching and state-of-the-art facilities. It puts a strong emphasis on global collaboration, leadership and innovation.
The application process has the following steps:
Step 1: Fill out the application with an updated CV/Resume, Personal Statement, three Written Essays, and Executive Assessment.
Step 2: Interview Preparation, in this step, the candidates must provide a soft copy of ID proof, Education/Qualification, and Work Experience and they need to install Zoom for the interview.
Step 3: There will be three interview, one with IIT Bombay faculty, one with WashU faculty and one with CEO.
Step 4: Complete the application by uploading the letter of recommendation and sponsor letter of commitment.
Step 5: The candidates need to pay the booking amount and instalment 1.
“In case an applicant withdraws before three months of the commencement of the classes but not after the closure of admission for the EMBA program and if the seat consequently falling vacant is filled by a waitlisted candidate (if any) then the booking fee already deposited by the applicant will be refunded with 10% deduction. In case the seat is not filled the amount will not be refunded,” reads the official statement.
“In case an applicant withdraws after the commencement of the classes and paid the first installment (including the booking amount) the fee will not be refunded. No refund of First, Second, or Third installments once paid in full or partial before the commencement of the program, during the program, or after completion of the program,” added the statement.
