Thus, your career goals should align with the course/program chosen and the research you have described previously.

You can also write about future research topics you would like to pursue and the amount of impact or kind of contribution they would make to the specified field or society at large. Divide the goals paragraph into two parts, where in the first section you talk about your short-term goal (what do you want to do just after completion of this course?).
