Barcelona School of Economics: Courses, Admission, Cost

Barcelona Graduate School of Economics imparts education in the disciplines of economics, international trade and finance. This institution was established by four prime academic institutions, namely the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, UAB Economics, the Institute for Economic Analysis and Centre de Recerca en Economia Internacional. This institution has established strong partnerships with many leading organisations to provide financial aids to its students. Some of these partners are Accenture, Cellnex, Telefonica, UniCredit Foundation and Novartis. Founded in the year 2009, Barcelona GSE provides all its courses in the English language.

Barcelona GSE has two main campuses which provide a plethora of student-friendly amenities and cutting edge technologies to the students. Located in the heart of the city of Barcelona, the Ciutadella Campus is home to two research centres, namely the UPF Department of Economics and Business and Centre for Research in International Economics (CREI). This campus is near to the beach and other major spots, including the prime cultural and financial centres. This campus is easily accessible by the means of bus, metro, train and tram. The Bellaterra Campus is home to the Unit for Economic Analysis Research Centre and the Institute for Economic Analysis Research Centre. In addition to this, the Economics of Public Policy Programme and the Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets Programme are taught on this campus.

In the academic session of 2017-18, this institution enrolled 238 master's students from 54 nationalities. The student demographics contained 36% of females and 64% of males. In the same year, 78% of the master's students were placed with leading organisations, and the remaining 22% are continuing with their education. In 2017, 93% of the postgraduate students were placed within six months of completing their education.

Approximately 2,394 graduates belonging to this institution are coming from 102 countries across the globe. Additionally, Barcelona GSE organises several events to maintain a strong connect with its alumni. In the academic session of 2017-18, this institution organised 57 events in 22 cities.
