Established in 1968 as Newman College of Higher Education, the public university stands in the suburb of Bartley Green in Birmingham, England. The university was known as Newman University College from 2008 to 2013, and in the same year, it was granted the status of a university. The campus of Newman University is located at a distance of 8 miles from the city center. The campus building has a great architecture designed in the early sixties. The campus is designed around a series of inner quadrangles near pastoral, academic and administrative buildings.
