BSc in Economics - Batch of 2025

Great college, need to make the most of it.
Tips: It is been a great experience, but it takes a lot of effort to move to a different country. Students should be ready to have lots of culture shocks, take the first few weeks to find everything and just settle in. The course is great but depends on how well you utilise your lecturers and other resources. Must have the habit of independent learning and be ready to take initiative.
Likes (Indian Food): There are loads of affordable Indian restaurants and shopping marts where you can find all essential groceries. Prices are typically higher than in India but you will easily find something to fit your budget - especially in Selly Oak. The city centre is also very close and easily accessible with public transport with lots more food options.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There are lots of different jobs available, but limited options for international students, since the new visa regulations. The careers service is great - a specific one for all business school courses so you can get individual attention and help as and when required.
