LLB Law - Batch of 2025
4.4
A place where everyone belongs.
Tips: It is a great place, and the campus is as beautiful in person. I would say our university is the most diverse I've seen in the UK. Education is really good, and every lecturer is so learned. One should definitely consider UoB because it is a campus-based Russian group with a big city life.
Likes (Part time work): I have been there for 2 years, and I was easily able to secure really good jobs. There are so many part-time jobs available on campus, you just have to keep an eye out when it is advertised. It is hard to manage part-time work along with university work, but you can reduce your hours and work full-time during holidays. The average payout would be around 900 pounds.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I believe the focus was primarily on generic aspects, given that Law is a highly competitive course. It is really hard to find jobs after, and the recruitment process is long. There are a lot of MNCs that do offer sponsorship, like PWC and Goldman Sachs. You can expect job roles like trainee solicitor, legal analyst, and paralegal.
