Founded in 1885, Arizona State University is a public research university in the Phoenix metropolitan area of Arizona, United States. As of Fall 2023, the university enrolled over 1.4L undergraduates, and more than 40,000 graduate and professional students, out of which nearly 17,600 were international students from over 160 countries. ASU has four campuses, located in Los Angeles, Washington, DC, and Hawaii. One of the most renowned campuses, Tempe is a research and graduate school center that prepares students for graduate/ professional schools or employment. The campus is approximately 660 acres in size.

With over 57,000 student enrollment, Tempe is one of the largest campuses among ASU campuses. Tempe is the oldest and main campus of ASU that was founded as a territorial Normal school and was meant for teachers. If we compare the enrollment data for the Tempe campus, there is a slight decline as compared to the previous year (2022). The student enrollment in 2022 was 57,588, and 57,144 in 2023.
