Overall being a husky was so lovely. Loved the university experience and the academics.
Tips: Students should do hard work to get the best. Inclusiveness in the diverse cultures from across the globe gives you a life time experience. I'm completely satisfied with my university. The courses are good the professors are on point. The coop portals was amazing to get few quick call.

Good but need to improvise based on the needs of international students.
Tips: Even though part time jobs are necessary to lead a less stressful student life, focus more on obtaining a good co-op or full-time job. There are no scholarships for graduate management courses at NU. The university and faculty are good and the facilities the university has for students are amazing.

It's a hole in your pocket so better come determind to make the best use of the time spent here
Tips: I am from Mumbai so I didn't face any major cultural shift however living conditions for students are pretty bad and personally have deteriorated quite a lot. NEU doesn't give any scholarships whatever to international students. If you have US citizenship you can apply to something called FFSA (not sure) I am just in my first semester so not good not bad experience about the university but if I had the chance to choose college again I would look elsewhere.
Likes (Public transportation): Easily accessible trains. Not so student-friendly though you have to tap or wait for the next train and hope for the back doors to open so you can travel without spending money. But the connectivity to the entire town is good and helpful. It's all about initial adjustments till you get used to it.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are no on-campus jobs for students in comparison to the intake the college has. We usually have to go around begging teachers and store owners for jobs and still might not get anything after one semester. You have a brother-like friend you are blessed else hard luck even on campus. You might get a job but not on campus.

A great college for Indian students
Tips: Northeastern does not give any kind of scholarships. I am satisfied with the university, course and country. Mentally, I feel I have matured a lot after studying at Northeastern, staying alone away from the family, made me a lot better than I was before.

Good college with a great curriculum. Architecture is very good in the country
Tips: It wasn't hard for me to transition after coming here because there are a lot of Indian students around you who make you feel at home. Sometimes, I do miss India for its food but I think there are many restaurants that I have heard of but haven't got an opportunity to explore yet that make very good Indian food. There wasn't any cultural shift. Also, I did not avail of any scholarship. I am pretty much satisfied with the university, course, and the country.
Likes (Part time work): There are many on campus jobs available but it comes at a cost, which is the number of applicants, There are many applicants for one role which makes it harder for everyone to get an on-campus job, but most people eventually get one. You cannot work off-campus as per the USCIS. Most part-time works on campus are either on a holiday or after the classes so it's easy to manage them. The average payout is $14.25.
Dislikes (Student Life): I do not spend much on daily basis but whenever I go to college, I end up spending $10 including a drink for myself and for travelling purposes. One thing that I enjoy the most is being able to communicate with different people from different backgrounds at the same time. There are many events organized on a daily basis, like cultural events, sports events, etc. I participate when there is a cultural event coming up and it is really fun. There are many student communities, like the Indian community that organize events on all the major Indian festivals.

Great college in a great country
Tips: There were a few cultural shifts at the beginning but it was all worth it and there are a lot of Indian students that make you feel homelike. I did not avail any scholarship. I am pretty much satisfied with the university and the course, and of course, US is one of the greatest nation.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is really good, given the diverse culture at NEU and the campus is also really good. There are a lot of events going on throughout the year as NEU has lots of student organizations that organize the events. There are student clubs for specific courses, sports clubs, even management clubs, etc.
Dislikes (Part time work): Sometimes it's hard to find part times but usually, everyone finds part-time after some time. Part-time is manageable as it is usually after class and a student can choose how many hours they want to devote. The average payout is usually around 14$ an hour which is more than enough.
