BITS Pilani ME/MTech fee range between INR 2.42 Lacs and INR 10.4 lakh for two years. An additional amount of INR 12,000 will be charged as the semester advance fee, which is payable at the beginning of each semester and is adjustable at the end of the same. Candidates admitted through GATE/ GPAT are eligible for a tuition fee waiver per month over and above the GATE/ GPAT scholarship that they will receive. For BITS Pilani M.Tech course detailed fee structure, candidates are advised to contact the admission department of the institute. Q:   Does BITS Pilani take direct admission?
A: 

Yes, BITS Pilani offers direct admission to Integrated First Degree and Higher Degree courses across the streams of Science, Technology, Pharmacy, Management and Humanities. If a candidate is a central/ state board topper, BITS Pilani offers direct admission to the specialisation of his choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score. BITS Pilani admission to most of the courses is based on candidates' performance in the course-specific entrance test. Apart from the entrance test scores, students are also required to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirement set by the institute. 

Q:   Is JEE Main enough for BITS Pilani BTech admission?
A: 

No, BITS Pilani doesn't accept JEE Main scores for admission to the BE course. Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani BE admission is based on valid BITSAT scores. Selection is based entirely on the candidate's past academic record, specialisation preference, availability of seats and score in BITSAT. Candidates, who have passed Class 12 in 2022 are only eligible to appear in 2023 and are eligible to apply for the BITS Pilani BE course. Apart from the BITSAT scores, students are also required to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements.

Q:   What is the last date for BITS Pilani MBA?
A: 

For admission to MBA programme, BITS Pilani accepts CAT score. The applications are available online on the official website from the day after the CAT results are out. CAT exam is scheduled for November 26, 2023 and the result for the same will be out between the last week of December 2023 and first week of Jamuary 2024. Followed by the same, MBA applications were started on the official website of BITS Pilani and the last date to apply for the same will be declared at the same time on the official website. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria with a valid CAT score can apply online.

Worth it to take admission here.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students are placed through the campus recruitment process. The top recruiting company from my course is many product-based companies. The highest package from my course is 1 CR. The lowest package is 7 LPA, and the average package is 15 LPA. Almost 60% of the students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of this college are awesome. Wi-Fi is available throughout the college campus, classrooms, library, and labs. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is top-notch. Medical facilities are also available 24/7, and sports and games are also good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful and knowledgeable; they also help those students who are not able to grasp the concepts they are taught in the classroom. Teaching quality is top-notch. The course designed by BITS Pilani is relevant and industry-ready. The semester exams are good if you understand the concepts clearly.
Other: I chose this course because I am keenly interested in software systems. The best thing about my course is we can learn along with the course. The only thing about my course that needs to be improved is the scheduled classes. Events, fests, and the campus are of the best quality, no doubt.

Satisfied by its performance in placements, good campus life, and personality development!
Placements: According to recent statistics, the placement scenario is quite impressive. Most of the students in the passing-out batch got a pre-placement offer during their Practice School 2. About % of students have been placed. The top recruiting companies for the ongoing year were Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Visa, Adobe, and Cisco. The highest package was around 60 Lacs while the lowest package was around 8 Lacs. The median package was about 30 Lacs. Our college offers internships in the 2nd and 3rd years which are called Practice School 1 and 2 respectively. Every student gets exposure to work and opportunities to do projects through these internships. Top roles offered in CSE were SDE, Software Engineer, Data Scientist, and full-stack developer.
Infrastructure: Labs are pretty good and well-maintained. BITS Wi-Fi also works efficiently. Classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned. The library is a very nice place to study at during summers as hostel rooms essentially do not have air-conditioning. Food in the mess is vegetarian with non-veg available on Sundays.
Faculty: Professors at BITS are well qualified and knowledgeable, most of them known to be doing or have done research work in their field. Students can also consult with them or ask doubts at their chambers. The course curriculum is relevant and updated. These courses make students industry-ready. Semester exams are very competitive due to the relatively grading system.

A really good place to develop your personality as a whole.
Placements: My course is M.Sc. Chemistry and the course major students go into non-tech and consulting roles and a few go into research and Ph.D. in Chemistry. Placement packages range from 10 to 50 LPA and the average package is 18 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Jio, Deloitte, PWC, JP Morgan and KPMG. In SI, around 250 students from a batch of 1100 got internships. In my course, the top roles (if you proceed to go for core) offered are that of Chemical researcher, Synthesis and Lab specials.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well furnished having fully functional AC, efficient lighting and seating places. Labs in the first year are somewhat renovated but the research labs are very advanced and innovative. Wi-Fi works good, just some productive services like Netflix and WhatsApp video calls are banned. The Library is very spacious and has separate places and tables for studying and books. It also has a relaxing space to sit and has facilities like coffee, tea and snacks from vending machines which can be consumed in the sitting area only, otherwise fine is imposed.
Faculty: The professors here are very qualified and have a diverse teaching methodology. They teach the whole syllabus in a systematic manner and follow the course handouts given initially. Sometimes the classes can be a bit difficult to understand due to increased level of difficulty and then people start getting bored and skipping classes. The semester exams are on the tougher side always and you have to think deeply or memorize in order to solve them. It's not a piece of cake anymore.
Other: I chose Chemistry as I have an interest in the subject since JEE time and wanted to learn and explore it in this college. The best things here include faculty members having expertise and great research experience in their respective fields and we get to learn a lot through them. The things which could be improved are the quiz and assessment timings and adding practices to maintain attendance in the classes. This college is the best place if you want to have a huge exposure to an intellectual peer group, all possible extra curriculars ranging from singing to drama to dance to managing events are provided here. All of them are adequately active and contribute and collaborate together for the functioning of fests. The connectivity is very good in the campus, all the places are within a 10 minutes walk and surroundings have a plethora of greenery and trees.

The best college in India.
Placements: Our college is one of the top colleges in India; we are equal to IIT colleges. Our placements are the best, with many big pharma firms like Glenmark, GSK, Lupin, etc. More than 50 companies come to campus for placement interviews. 100% of students got at least one offer letter, and some got 2-3 offer letters. Internships are given from the first semester; some are paid, some are unpaid.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is massive; it is very big, with many garden and sitting areas on campus. We have modern classrooms with all digital facilities; we also have digital labs and a library. From here, students can perform experiments anywhere. Our hostel is expensive, but its facilities are worth it; they provide every essential facility to us. Colleges have a lack of attention to sports.
Faculty: Our teachers are some of the best teachers, studying at IIT, NITs; they encourage us to make successful startups, and BITS makes the most successful startups in India, where teachers play a crucial role. Courses are demanding in the pharma sector; we have demand in the industry. Exams are hectic and very hard.
Other: The BITS college crowd has various students from different states.

Satisfied with faculty, Placements at par with IITs, top notch infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placements here in Bits pilani are very good with 96% being placed last year with the highest package of 82 Lacs per annum (on campus) and average being 19 to 20 with least being 12 Lacs annum. Companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft come here for recruitments.
Infrastructure: The facilities we get here in Bits pilani are top notch as we have fully furnished classrooms with AC and a Three floored library. Coming to mess the food we get is of atmost quality and hygiene with a balanced diet. And hostels are well maintained with spacious rooms. And there are all type of sports, games available to play.
Faculty: Professors here are all qualified and helpful and most of them have done their Masters in reputed institutions like IISc Bangalore, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur etc. Semester exams are easy only when you work hard and attend all the classes and lectures as teachers are always there to help you.

One of the best college in india.
Placements: BITS pilani is known of its placements. Students got placed in one of the best companies in the world. Each student can get maximum 3 jobs and one of my friend got 3 jobs. Many big Companies JP morgan, Citi bank, goldman sachs, Deloitte, Amazon, flipkart hire from our campus. Good internship opportunities are arrange by campus in form of PS1 and PS2.
Infrastructure: The best thing is the freedom BITS provide. The campus is beautiful in its own with chess court life size. We have student activity centre it nice with gym and badminton facility. Library is any time full you do not get any seat. Wi-Fi available in campus and hostel. Hostel is not good even they charge 3 Lacs but not give any AC. Mess food is one of the worst part of institute.
Faculty: Almost all course are well structured and architecture in order to enhance student knowledge and be industry oriented. They provide excellent opportunity to experiments in well-equipped lab. Faculty is cool enough to talk to students. Exams are always difficult part Niti publication books cover all syllabus.

Q:   Does BITS Pilani accept GPAT scores for MPharm admission?

Yes, BITS Pilani accepts GPAT scores for admission to MPharm course. Apart from the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), BITS Pilani also accepts BITS HD entrance test scores for MPharm admission. GPAT 2025 will be organised and conducted by the NBEMS. It is expected that the exam dates will be announced in the month of March 2025.

BITS Pilani allows admission to MBA courses based on CAT/XAT exam scores. Considering the BITS Pilani cutoff 2024, the MBA course percentile stood at 60 for CAT exam at BITS Pilani. Direct admission to board toppers has given a very dynamic input of highly commendable students from all over India. Continuing this tradition, the BITS Pilani, Hyderabad campus will give direct admission to first rank students of all the central and state boards to the programme of their choice according to the eligibility criteria, regardless of their BITSAT-2022 score. BITS Pilani Rajasthan is famous for its infrastructure. Spread over an area of 328 acres, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani is well-equipped with all the amenities and buildings that fit as an institute of international standards. Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani offers fully-residential programmes only with 11 hostels for boys and one hostel complex for girls. Over 4,500 students reside on campus along with 350 faculty members, their families, and a vast pool of support staff.
