The overall college is good for average and above-average students.
Placements: My course is a unique one in India, because not many people choose it. Yet, Chandigarh University has some good faculty. Regarding placements, my branch seniors have got some offers. The companies, Bosch, and some automobile companies are good options for our branch. The basic package is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good and has all the necessary things. Yes, the food is good. I am telling this, as I am a South Indian from Andhra Pradesh, and I manage well with the food they offer. If there's any problem with the food, we can always get food from outside through online booking. Coming to the college, the labs and classrooms are nice, but students can only access the internet on college-provided computers in labs.
Faculty: The curriculum is good compared to some autonomous or other branded universities. The exams are a bit complicated here. The exams are held every two weeks, which is a bit difficult to keep up with. This makes the pass percentage in midterms a bit lower compared to end-semester exams.

Unveiling the excellence :my journey at Chandigarh university.
Placements: I am impressed with the placement opportunities available. Top companies like, and siemens recruits students every year and the average salary package is around 6 LPA. So as a result all students are able for good placements.
Infrastructure: The hostels at Chandigarh university are well - maintained and offer a variety of amenities, including wi-fi, laundary, facilities, and common areas for students to relax and socialize. So the infrastructure of our course and hostel is very good for students.
Faculty: The faculty of the Mechatronics department are very supportive and passionate about teaching and are always looking for new and innovative ways to engage students. They are very attentive and very nice. All do their work with proper attention and dedication.

I am satisfied with the placements in top companies and amazing infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 85% of students got placed at Chandigarh University with the highest salary package of 45 LPA. Many companies like Google are coming for placements. Almost 75% of students got internships in reputed companies. In our course, we get role of mechatronics engineer, automation engineer, industrial automation worker, robotic scientist, and many more.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities like the 3D design lab, automation lab, and mechanical lab where we work on real-time projects. The hostels are also well cleaned and hygienic. The mess food has something new every day on their menu. There is also a gym. There are many sports and games to play.
Faculty: Teachers help a lot in clearing all our doubts. The course curriculum is very relevant to our field. The semester exams are a little tough but it varies from person to person. The pass percentage is around 50%. Right now, we have both online/offline exams. So according to that, it varies.

It is a good college for research and development.
Placements: Around 100% of placements were placed. The minimum salary pacakge offered was 15 LPA, the maximum salary package offered was 5.5 LPA. Students get internships in good companies like High Radius, Deloitte, etc. Especially where it comes under different departments so they have great scope in learning things in different fields.
Infrastructure: I am living in the LC hostel with a spacious and comfortable balcony, etc. It has better Wi-Fi facilities and geyser facilities, and good medical and canteen as well. Students have named called sports complex where students have many outdoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are highly interested in student encouragement towards their goals. The students pass out with an average of 70%, and the highest of 90%. The curriculum is average, and teachers will help students to the great project ideas and working.
Other: In this college, events are not held.

Chandigarh University only deals with the grades of class 12th. So for a student to be qualifying for an admission in Chandigarh University he should have a minimum 60 percentage in 10+2 or any equivalent exam.

Hello Shruti,
After completing M.Tech (mechatronics), you can find opportunities primarily in electronics industry. You can also work in fields like automobile, manufacturing, gas and oil, mining, transport, defence, robotics, aerospace and aviation.
You may find opportunities in the Army, the Navy
